eh, that man had his chance and he delivered the undisputedly best and most adored CBM trilogy of all times, having no artistic equal. How can this be topped? What else is there to achieve in this genre? Better do it like Spielberg and create serious Oscar bait stuff.
Nolan had his iconic run. Let the DCEU be defined by other creative minds, I like it how it is and how unpredictably and un-formulaically it evolves. It's more exiting this way.
