Nolan made the best super hero trilogy without resulting to using CGI monsters and armies with over the top action. Something that Zack Snyder and other cbm directors haven't done recently. He took the genre and did something refreshing with it. #InNolanwetrust #Nolanisgod It wasn't anything new, it was the usual thing he did with his own movies. The characters were all either archetypes or 1 note fanatics, the philosophies presented were full of holes... The only one of his movies anyone talks about is Dark Knight. And that was due to Ledger dying. I like how whenever someone brings up The Dark Knight, you instantly use Heath's death as like some kind of insult to the film. The movie received praise for other things besides ledger performance. Yet all you focus on is the death of an actor.
