Covenant is a bastard child, & I'd accept if was told it was Ridley sabotaging the studio demands.
An engineer of the ilk the Nostromo crew stumbled across in Alien, that's who me meet, that's cool. Everyone all uppity about the crew in Prometheus dying off & being unprofessional... they were meat for the grinder, so Weyland could get his mitts on the alien holy grail stuff.
