Will home field be that big of an advantage? Sure it will be nice to sleep in your own bed, but the crowd noise will be less. Not all the tickets will go to Viking fans.it will be nice but not as much of a plus as this weeks games. If the Vikings are in the Super Bowl, many Vikings fans would probably be willing to pay a high price for those tickets. So many people who have tickets would probably be tempted to sell their tickets to a Vikings fan and just watch the game on TV. That's what happened when the 49ers played Super Bowl XIX at Stanford Stadium. Not cost but a availability. 17.5% of the tickets go to each conference champions. Another 5% go to the host city. So less that a quarter of the seats are available to Viking fans. The rest are sold to the rich and famous throughout the land.
