Or the Emoji movie, for which I wonder how dated it will seem 100 years from now. There's a film from 1905 called "The Whole Dam Family and the Dam Dog" (cashing in on a popular postcard) which gives an idea of how incomprehensible a film cashing in on a fad can be years later. You mean a 100+ year old film seems dated? I never would have guessed. There's different degrees of "dated". The Corner in Wheat (1909) is still entertaining, and still makes sense for modern viewers, the storyline is still relevant. The Watermelon Patch (1905), on the other hand, is no longer entertaining and is very difficult to understand.
