One Of The Worst Movies.....

Of the four Insidious films, I only liked the first two.
The first installment was off to a great start and its still one of my favorite horrors. Chapter 2  was great as well and i really liked how it tied loose ends from the first film. The Final Chapter relied more on jump scares and creepy monsters but the story was enjoyable as a whole.

The last key was seriously lacking scenes with genuine horror that made the first three movies "scary". It doesn't really add much to the series other than establish that Elise has been facing these demons since her childhood. Plus I wish they hadn't tried so hard to inject humor into the film and Specs and Tucker's love stories felt forced and unnecessary. The fourth film was a real stinker if you ask me!
