Thought about USA v USSR in the 80 Olympics and Secretariat in the 73 Belmont. The game in the 1932 WS where Babe Ruth called the HR, just to see if he did it. Dr Naismith first peach basket basketball game. But I’ll go with the 1870 baseball game between Cincinnati Red Stockings and the. Brooklyn Atlantics. Cincy was the first completely pro team and was undefeated for 1869-70 until Brooklyn beat them in extra innings. To see how the game was played in 1870 and see how the crowd reacted and to know how the game evolved would be cool I am not a fan of baseball but I like your pick, and the reasoning behind it. My choice would also be something along those lines: a 19th century soccer game in England, or possibly the first World Cup in Uruguay in 1930. *** EDIT *** Come to think of it, as a history buff I would like to attend one of the Olympic Games from antiquity.
