Philip K Dick's Electric Dreams - Amazon was promoting this heavily last year so it's odd that they dropped it without much fanfare.
I think it would be a disservice to say it's their take on Black Mirror. It's much more a sci-fi anthology series in the old school way we understand them, but it's difficult not to compare the two considering how close this release is to that.
Overall the stories are competent and look really great and polished. It feels like they spend more money than Black Mirror does. Although I love the special effects in Black Mirror, these are more fantastical.
My big problem with this is the feeling that they are cutting out a lot of story to keep it under an hour. There's not a lot of time given for character development and the plot will be mostly buildup which is great. They then take all of this wonderful buildup and suspense and wrap it up in a few minutes which is frustrating and especially since some of them could be fleshed out to actual series themselves.
Still there aren't enough sci-fi anthologies and this one is definitely worth sticking with.
