The problem is that I don't ever order entrees with beef gravy and it just seems like half the time when you say to a waiter or waitress, "hey, I can see here that you offer beef gravy elsewhere on your menu, howsabout I get some on my fries," they start panicking and saying they don't know what to charge for it, they're not sure it's allowed, they have to ask a manager, etc." and I don't like stressing waitstaff out. They don't make much. So I just wait until that once-a-year situation where I'm in a restaurant and I see "fries w/gravy" actually on the printed menu and then I go for it. Once a year is good enough for me. Now I see what you mean. But when you say "Once a year is good enough for me" I don't agree with that. When I look at this picture I could eat that at least once a month.
