Time extension proposals vary by state. But wherever they are proposed the church lobbies against them.
And I assume that clergy abusers and non-clergy abusers get equal treatment. I expect that to do otherwise would be unconstitutional.

Anyway...What state is a clergyman getting a different sentence than a layperson?
I'm trying to ask the question carefully since I don;t want to be accused of being a Catholic next.
I'll look for an example.
