Time extension proposals vary by state. But wherever they are proposed the church lobbies against them. And I assume that clergy abusers and non-clergy abusers get equal treatment. I expect that to do otherwise would be unconstitutional. Are you going to be answering my question on your Faithleaks thread?
Anyway...What state is a clergyman getting a different sentence than a layperson? This is not about sentences. I'm talking about civil lawsuits, and the time limits that victims have to file them. The church fights against extending those limits.
