You have no idea what Sony is trying to do, don't you? They don't necessarily want to compete with Marvel Studios they want to make movies that can capitalize on the success of the MCU and make people believe Venom and Silver and Black are in the same universe even if they are not wholly developed by Marvel proper. That's why Tom Holland is rumored to cameo in Venom, so they can trick the masses into thinking its in continuity with the larger MCU and potentially gain more profit out of it. Yeah, Kevin Feige has kinda confirmed that is what they are doing. Yes, but thenewnexus seems to be either in the dark on the whole ordeal or it just choosing to ignore it outright. |
