The continuity was already screwed. Them trying to "fix" things only screwed things up further. I wasn’t talking about continuity. I wasn't talking about them trying to fix the continuity. What they did was compound on what was messed up by trying to fix things that they did in the past. Untie a knot, but end up with 8 more knots. They didn't have to redo Weapon X or Dark Phoenix in the X-men movies and certainly not right away. It's like they have three places in their X-men story mind: Magneto, Phoenix and Weapon X. They stem everything from there. Instead of going to new places they had to "get those right"? Meh. |
