As for disabling comments on reviews, that would be nice.
I don't even bother to check review comments on mine. I already know I'm not that good at reviews.
But even I know to look at the disclaimers saying it's a region 2 import.
I think some of the people who get harassed on a review kind of deserve it when they are doing one of the 3 idiotic things I mentioned above.
"The DVD didn't play"
I'm over here thinking to myself like "UH... paay f*cking attention! It said it was region 2 on the main page. IT'S NOT SUPPOSED TO PLAY. STOP POLLUTING MY PLANET WITH YOUR STUPIDITY!!!!!!!" LOL
Since I got some rude ones in the past, I stopped checking mines too and disabled the notification feature.
When it comes to DVDs, books, and music, I agree that it is very annoying about people leaving reviews about certain features that don't work, and I'm like they should take their complaints to the seller. It seems like many people are confusing "write product review" with "leave seller feedback" why that happens a lot. It's also annoying when you're debating whether you should get a particular artist's album, but you see unhelpful reviews about people bashing the artist rather than critiquing the actual album itself.

Too many people don't actually contribute an actual review
Its either bash the product, bash the seller, bash the dvd region, etc.
