I don't think it is a minor success, either. It's a write off. It might make it's money back with the Whedon cut... maybe. They're going to cut their losses there.

With all the reshoots they did, that can add up. Solo will be in the same boat since they reshot almost the entire movie and brought in a new actor to replace one that couldn't return for the reshoots.
