Nobody? Not one person has been? For shame, food board. Tsk tsk. No, I've not been to Cape Town. I envy you, your plans. My "to visit," list is long ... and growing. Is this your first visit? I ask, because your original post asks for "...any and all food recommendations. Great local cuisine, street-market type stuff preferred. Open to all!" That gives (me) the impression that it will be new territory, for you. I wonder if your post is meant to gather experience-based suggestions ... or, to scorn others for travel opportunities, which may not have come their way. Enjoy your trip. Wasn't meant to scorn anyone. I felt it reasonably likely that on this, a food board, someone would have had the pleasure of going there. People post here from all over the world, it's a hot tourist landing spot and has a reputation for being a food mecca of sorts. I am somewhat surprised that among all of us, nobody has been there. Alas. |
