Whenever comic book movies try be "dark and gritty," they usually make the ACTUAL STUPID THINGS (grown men dressing up as bats, alien armies comin' over here with there lasers) stand out like a sore thumb. This is why I couldn't get over the cartoon lizard rat in the Amazing Spider-Man.
