Totally agree. I can understand why they went to Rogue One or why they would tell any story during the period when Vader was running amok in the galaxy because you never know how long James Earl Jones might be with us.

But since you have to recast Han anyway, why'd we need this story right away?

Oh wait, I know why. Disney doesn't have any good creative to sell us, so they have to moof-milk that OT nostalgia as long as it will yield a couple drops.
