Tom Selleck as Indiana Jones?

He was the actor they wanted. He was contractually obligated to Magnum P.I. and could not accept the role. Harrison Ford was cast in his place.

Could Tom Selleck be as good in the role as Harrison Ford?

I say yes. I wouldn't say he would be better but he could have been as good or even better.

I'm likely in the minority here.
