Still, the First Class conflict is leagues ahead of MCU in writing quality and maturity. The coin scene is an INCREDIBLY dark, bloody and brutal scene with a proper motivational set up.
This is written and executed differently from the cringe worthy "You should not have killed my mom...or squished my Walkman" or IM's godawful "I don't care, he killed my mom!" clobber scene. Magneto's a character defining moment.
But why do I talk? Here it is, one must be tone deaf and dull not to see the quality difference.
