I'm one of the few who loved Evita, but I'm a big Madge fan from the beginning.
I remember going to a Saturday matinee as a child in the 70's and seeing Sgt. Peppers Lonely Hearts Club Band. It was what was playing and we always went every Saturday afternoon. I just HATED IT! Maybe if I saw it again now that I have a better appreciation of music and movies...funny thing is, a few short years later I was taken to see Popeye, which was a musical, and I loved that. That might have more to do with my Robin Williams worship back then.
