Can we just agree the people nowadays are way too sensitive about things and will try to interpret stuff in the worst possible way? The twitter outrage today from younger millenials watching Friends for the 1st time is laughable. Theyre finding the show homopohobic, sexist, racist, transphobic. Shocking. Well, by today's standard it kind of is... Same thing happened with "The Birdcage" and I was really sad because it is one of my favorite movies... But the entire premise hinges on you siding with the kids, even just a little. Watching it recently, they just come off as pretentious, self important cowards who torture one family just to barely appease another.
