I have a Razzies membership. When I got my ballot, I was shocked to see MOTHER! in it. The people who made it knew that including that movie would cause a controversy. I'm disappointed that they feel the need to do publicity stunts. This kind of thing hurts the reputation of what could be a ceremony as relevant as the Oscars, regardless of the quality of the show or who the voters are. Anyway, I'm not gonna waste time talking about that movie's nominations and neither should you.
I'm happy with most of the nominations. Specially James Foley's, because he was one of my write-ins. I got 28/45. Interesting that Johnny Depp is nominated for the same role that earned him an Oscar nomination. Please, enough with the "Any combination of..."! Put couples or full ensembles!
Why Johnny Depp for POTC? Say what you want about the movies, but his performance in them is nothing short of spectacular.
Playing the same character again doesn't mean the performance will be the same.
