A week on Sunday, I will be dragging my dicky ticker up the Brecon Beacons to support and raise money for a great community club in South Wales that is in dire straits.
Merthyr Town FC was founded in 1908, and is now at serious risk of going under.
Like many small non-league clubs, they are more than just a football team. They are a vital community asset. And just over the Bristol Channel from me.
