Meryl Streep continues to extend her own record, now with 21 Oscar nominations for acting, nine more than any other performer. But Tom Hanks misses out!
Willem Dafoe receives his third Best Supporting Actor nomination, just terrific, he's a great actor.
And how about Denzel Washington, receiving his 8th acting nomination to tie with Marlon Brando, Jack Lemmon, Peter O'Toole and Al Pacino. An awesome achievement for a magnificent performer, I'm so pleased for him.
