I remember not liking the first two RE movies much but they're overdue for a re-visit. I remember really hating how they changed so much from the games. Yeah they're totally different from the games, no doubt. I enjoy them for what they are, though. After Apocalypse, the movies have already established themselves as their own thing. I look forward to the rebooted series as there's a ton of good material from the games that got changed or omitted. I'd like to see them take the same approach as the earlier games did, focusing on the atmosphere and suspense. |
