To be clear, there's movies with crappy effects that I do continue liking (Such as Superman II) which is why it's telling me that I didn't particularly care for the story either.
I think everything leading up to him becoming Superman is great, him being Superman not so much.
The ol' origin story problem. Batman Begins and Spider-Man have the same problem.
