lol They taste nothing alike to me. Now if you said "Pibb Xtra" I would agree.
When Mr. Pibb changed it's formula to Pibb Xtra in 2001, That ruined it for me. It tasted like cherry cola. Coke and pepsi both share bottling rights to Dr. pepper, it depends on area. and in areas where coke makes Dr. Pepper, They don't sell Pibb in stores.
So it was always a bitch to get until my mom started working in an area where Pepsi manufacturers dr. pepper. But as soon as I tried the new "Pibb xtra" formula, I was like "F this. I'm going back to Dr. Pepper. This tastes like Cherry Coke flavored nyquil", lol.
I don't think I've ever had Pibb Xtra, lol
