eh, I enjoyed it well enough, especially the David stuff. But the Engineer mythology from Prometheus was not honored and developed enough - and did we really need another off-screen kill off of a female lead, worked so well in Alien III, right? I wanted Shaw's & David's journey, not the usual monsters eat dumb-ass crew one by one.
All in favor of trope and formula rehash, which is still sound, but after 6 films and countless spoofs hardly memorable.
