outrider127 I think "Life" is one of the few truly faithful movies that deals with modern (for now) space travel. It wasn't a perfect movie, but they nailed a current depiction of what life in a space station is like. I'd add to the list: -"Sunshine" - very good film, whether or not you like movies that take place in space -"The Europa Report" - this movie captures space on a '2001' level. You have to go with the doc/found footage element in some scenes, but they're not pervasive enough to ruin this tremendous film. It's been mentioned, but "Apollo 13" is one hell of a movie...and very attentive to the history and facts regarding that mission. Still my favorite launch scene in any movie. Life and Sunshine added to watch list. I've see Europa Report and Apollo 13 and i enjoyed both especially Apollo 13
