Films with space travel

outrider127 I think "Life" is one of the few truly faithful movies that deals with modern (for now) space travel. It wasn't a perfect movie, but they nailed a current depiction of what life in a space station is like.

I'd add to the list:

-"Sunshine" - very good film, whether or not you like movies that take place in space
-"The Europa Report" - this movie captures space on a '2001' level. You have to go with the doc/found footage element in some scenes, but they're not pervasive enough to ruin this tremendous film.

It's been mentioned, but "Apollo 13" is one hell of a movie...and very attentive to the history and facts regarding that mission. Still my favorite launch scene in any movie.
