A fourth film would have been great back in the mid 90s, but then again I kind of liked how it ended with third one.
I see that for some time now, at least according to the Wikipedia page, it says:
A remake directed by John Hyams and produced by Nicolas Winding Refn was announced in 2015 and scheduled for a 2017 release.
If a remake is in the happening, I really would like to see a much more bigger picture of the life of officer Matt Cordell, before he became Maniac Cop.
Of course the main worry for me, and probably most Maniac Cop fans, is who's gonna take on the role after Robert Z' Dar?
