The more I see it, the more I seem to like it. There are issues, no questions about it, but Mann's use of imagery hand to hand with the Tangerine Dream's score presents an immersive dark, dreamlike vibe that's hard to shake. The most disappointing thing is reading what this problematic production could've been.
Also the novel is one of my favourites, such a good read and even the graphic novel (written also by F. Paul Wilson) is worth a look for fans.
