My thoughts as well! I think Covenent did a good job at connecting the Xeno's origin story with the corrupt corporation that consistently tried to exploit them to use them as a biological weapons. With Covenent, the franchise is a lot closer to wrapping up the origin story and events leading up to the original Alien film.
