Recently read the July 1999 issue of Unique Cars magazine. Various articles on new and classic cars, plus pictures of various collectable/classic cars for sale. I was surprised to see that the term "nanny state" was already around by then. The late and deeply unlamented Margaret Thatcher was vomiting that term forth on a regular basis by the end of the 70s. |
