Oh cool, I like western movies a lot but I never really checked out the tv series. I know sometimes when I flick on the tv Gunsmoke is on but I just never sat down and watched a full episode.  These TV Western shows were quite entertaining Jay especially with the weekly side storylines to the main ones and ( IMPO ) the awesome character development of almost every character regular or guest to these fine shows too   . I was definitely hooked on these programs over the years before cable TV as well   . If you get a chance check an episode out or two on MeTV this channel shows a lot of great classic western programs . I think you're right and that I would enjoy these. I think they were even airing gunsmoke on 2 stations at the same time for awhile too. TVland and Metv I believe. That's when you know it's a hot show if it airs on 2 stations at the same time.  |
