Since the Super Bowl began its existence in 1967, there has not been a world championship celebration for the Philadelphia Eagles.
With the Eagles now one game away from winning the Vince Lombardi trophy, fans and city officials across the area are being very cautious and superstitious, trying not to jinx the team. Some methods from household cleanliness to a small figure being placed on top of a building are helping fans believe they are supporting the team to victory.
Maybe it's just me but, if I were a fan of a team with NOT A SINGLE SUPER BOWL VICTORY IN THE ENTIRE 50 YEAR ERA then I would probably think that just maybe, our little superstitions don't work all that well anyway.
