That is true, but there are people who claim they are sure. Well, they may be “sure” in as much as they have convinced themselves of what is “true” in spite of the evidence. People are often “sure” of a lot of things that turn out to be wrong in the end. Being sure is a matter of perception and confidence in what you believe, not necessarily what is true in reality. I agree with this, for the most part. I would delete "in spite of the evidence" in order to make it truer still (to be fair, there are plenty of instances where people have been sure and where the evidence thus discovered heavily pointed to their correctness, but, in fact, it turns out they were wrong), but I agree with the spirit of the overall comment. My confidence in the sureness of God existing is fully based on my personal experience and personal perception.
