I live a 3 minute stroll to the beach and shops and I use a shopping trolley so I shop every day or every other day for fresh produce and don't need to use supermarket bags. We also grow some of our own such as herbs and salad veges.
We tend to eat out between once a week and once a fortnight, also local. In our small tourist village we have 20-30 restaurants of every different kind so we are very lucky to have so much choice.
