Cause it is. The story was predictable and mediocre and the random deus ex machina stuff was just embarrassing (like how she beat Ares). Make the story be about a naive immortal guy and the ratings would bomb.

I don't deny there's some element of positive discrimination here, but I'm willing to wait and see if the movie is any good unto itself.
