By the way, politicidal, have you heard Stephens’ Bond on the radio? It’s an excellent characterization—the closest to the books that I know, and he ranks as my third-favorite Bond after Connery and Dalton. No foolin? Huh. Glad to see someone else appreciate Dalton. He gets such a bad rap. No foolin’ at that. The Doctor No adaptation was superb. I really wish Dalton had gotten more chances—if he had had some of the later Moores and the earlier Brosnans. I think he’s an excellent Bond. |
