I didn't bother with "Revelations" - why I bothered with other sequels after "Bloodline" is something I can't explain. "Judgement" does indeed look like another one that was made just to keep the rights. It seems that more and more of these "old dog" franchises are stuck with new sequels getting made just for the sake of keeping the rights, while the planned properly budgeted reboots mostly fail to happen. The best thing for this series would be to completely move away from Pinhead & gimmicky new Cenobites and do something else with the mythology. Hellraiser: Inferno was a weird entry to the series but in a way I liked what it was trying to do. "Revelations" was an all round weak attempt. I wouldn't mind them going back to Barker's source material, maybe even the latest "The Scarlet Gospels" for ideas. But in the end you like to see the studios take it seriously - splashing out some money and putting time into it. I do see "Inferno" get thrown around a lot as the best of the DTV bunch, which is strange being that the story originally had nothing to do with the hellraiser universe. I'll probably check 'em out sooner than later.
