No. There is no good reason to think that there is a "creator" of any kind.
Somehow all the required astrophysical and geological events did occur.
Is it possible for them to have happened without a guiding force?
Yes, of course it's possible. The universe contains billions of galaxies, each galaxy contains millions or billions of planets. It's no surprise that the conditions necessary for life (the right orbit, the right geology and atmosphere, etc) happen to obtain somewhere. There are probably millions of Earth-like planets in the universe.
