Why it is socially required to speak nothing but positive words of the recently deceased even if you didn't give a rat's ass about them when they were alive. It should be more encouraged to speak positively of the living considering your kind words can still have an actual effect.

Why some people treat sports like a life or death matter.

Why alcohol is legal and marijuana isn't (at least not in a majority of states).
