No, we haven’t. The point of comparison you cited didn’t involve a plane that was full of highly flammable gas. The highly flammable gas isn't going to go highly flammable until something ignites it. Splash some fuel on a wing, set it on fire ... that should give you a couple minutes to get clear of the explosion when the fire reaches the bombs. Still confused? ... or are we good? Wasn’t there enough gas in that plane to bomb London? It kind of seems like Steve Trevor would’ve been screwed no matter how he tried to dispose of it.
