No but, the the battlefield expedient way to neutralize chemical weapons would be to blow them up in place - especially if you’re pressed for time. Pressed for time? Wouldn’t landing the plane, then setting it on fire have taken more time? Indeed it would have . That is why blowing it up “in place” would have been more expedient than flying to anywhere. |
