I wasn’t asking why you said that, I was asking why you’re being inconsistent. Because the film itself is. It tries to make us think Diana is in real danger if she leaves Themyscira, but she's never in any real danger. It's supposed to be a "grounded" film but we get stuff like magic strength enhancing gas, we're supposed to see Steve's death as some great sacrifice but it was senseless, etc. I never got the impression that the movie was supposed to be particularly “grounded”. Are you forgetting that the movie had Greek Gods as part of its setting?
