Well I am glad someone else has seen this (Stephen King also spoke highly of it).
I think it has some great Holbrook scenes like when he is telling the Korean rice paddy story.
The killer on the horizon, yes that was a particularly effective moment--the film has a gothic feeling.

Yeah he liked doing the Fog and Creepshow from what I heard from a movie crew person.
