Well, at the end of the day, sexuality is just sexuality. Labels and tags are part of the problem. T shouldn't even be a part of it, it's not a sexuality, but a mind disorder. That is part of my whole point about this community thing, there is NO LGBT whatever community, it's all ONE community that many straights choose to compartmentalize others into, because they are not ONE OF US. Quite insidious really! Gay was a term more associated with male homosexuality, due to the frivolous connotation of it. Most gay guys would have been perceived as Mary's when first originated. More degrading heterosexist ignorance. And while stereotypes do exist, it is not the same for everyone and even bisexual men may not want to identify with the gay label. They shouldn't have too. They are both homo and hetero. Man, you sure have strong opinions. I don't think T is a mental disorder. Imagine all those people put away in asylums. It's unthinkable. Even a gay man can conceal his preference and not arouse suspicion if he chooses to. But transgenders need all the help they can get from the community. Here, sometimes even the cops won't leave them alone. I don't understand this sentence, can you explain if possible - "Most gay guys would have been perceived as Mary's when first originated." A Mary is an effeminate male. Of course T is a disorder, it's even listed as such in the DSM5. It is gender dysphoria. Anyone who thinks they are the opposite sex and want to mutilate their bodies to become that, has serious psychological issues. Gay men, do love and appreciate the gender they are born into and don't have the need to become women. Let's please put sexuality and mind disorders into perspective.
