Hello RFS board old-timers!

ON the old site I sort of dabbled on the RFS board. I sometimes would chime in on something, or create a new thread to ask a question, but never became a "regular". I was turned off early on when there was a large contingent of anti-Christian atheists that did nothing but belittle and mock Christian or for that matter any religious or semi-religious person who tried to take things seriously on the boards. Of course there were also times when there was actual civilized discussion and debate about various beliefs and religions. It took me a while to get over the relaxed "social" atmosphere the boards had. Some people just tended to do all their discussions in the Religion boards so that 99% of their posts were extremely OFF TOPIC. I lightened up some, but still feel that some people only post on chat boards to stir up the pot and to get people irritated. The type of people who the very first reply to anybody's post would be filled with foul language and sound very angry, no matter what the original post had said or asked.

So far here most people have been acting more favorably in general.
