Those were great questions.
I continue to marvel at how obscure many of the oscar nommed songs are. I love the song from Parenthood- LOVE TO SEE YOU SMILE. It’s written and performed by Randy Newman ,back after a long illness. But finding any recording of this song was quite a challenge. I finally got an old used soundtrack cd.

-- It's like either Columbia or King (or both) disowned it
